Elizabeth is a descendent of the very prominent Marquess and Evans families of Marquess W Virginia and Evansville W Virginia. Her father John Marquess was of French Huguenot descent, her mother was Nancy Ann Evans grand daughter of Edward Drummer Boy Evans who was granted land by George Washington for his service in the French and Indian War. Of which he named it Evansville, her family has been in the USA since the early 1500's. She is also the G Grand daughter of Sarah Wood a part Cherokee Indian.
